History. The Faculty of Information was founded as the University of Toronto Library School within the Ontario University of Toronto and its predecessors of Education in and was housed at Bloor Street. Inthe School was designated as an independent unit within the university and became known as the School of Library Science and thus moved it quarters to College Street and McCaul : Public Professional School.
